GLOW On Netflix – IMDb: 8.10 – starring Alison Brie, Marc Maron, Betty Gilpin, the web show is based on the real-life story from ‘80s. The Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW) founded by David McLane, revolves around a fictionalization of the characters. The 8-episode series, which released in 2017, is helmed by Sam Sylvia.

UNBELIEVABLE On Netflix – IMDb 8.4 – starring Toni Collette, Merritt Wever and Kaitlyn Dever is a true-crime documentary. The trailer of the miniseries is sure to send a chill down your spine. The show is based on the life of a teenager named Kaitlyn Dever, who reports being raped at her home by a masked intruder. The show gets intriguing when lady officers deal with the case being their badass selves. The miniseries released last year on September 13.



MINDHUNTER On Netflix – IMDb 8.6 – starring Jonathan Groff, Holt McCallany, Anna Torv, the 2nd season was dropped last year, while the first season was released on October 13, 2017 and the 3rd season is all set to release very soon. The miniseries is based  on a true-crime book Mindhunter: Inside the FBI's Elite Serial Crime Unit written by John E. Douglas and Mark Olshaker.


PEAKY BLINDERS On Netflix – IMDb 8.8 – starring Cillian Murphy, Paul Anderson, Helen McCrory’s season 5 was dropped last year on the platform. Peaky Blinders, which is a British period crime drama TV series, is based on a real story of youth gang named Peaky Blinders. 5 seasons are directed by 5 people, the first season was release on September 12, 2013. STRANGER THINGS On Netflix – IMDb 8.8 – starring Finn Wolfhard, Winona Ryde, Noah Schapp, Millie Bobby Brown, which is a sci-fi/horror series is a surprise on this list. While it is said to be based on true events, it's has been altered a bit. Set in the 1980s in the fictional town of Hawkins, the show sees the group of boys focused on supernatural powers.  The story starts off with the disappearance of 12-year-old Will Byers.
